During the ongoing conflict, the Russian military launched another strike on an important enemy target. As a result of a precise missile strike by the Iskander-M system, the American M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, which was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy region, was destroyed.

According to available information, it was this complex that the Ukrainian army actively used for fire support of offensive operations in the Kursk region. The destruction of HIMARS was a serious blow to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ ability to conduct long-range artillery attacks on Russian military positions and infrastructure in border areas.

Iskander-M missile systems have proven themselves to be an effective means of destroying highly mobile targets, which was once again demonstrated in the Sumy region. The complex's missiles are capable of hitting targets at ranges of up to 500 kilometers, which makes it an indispensable tool in the fight against high-tech enemy weapons, such as HIMARS.
