More than 20 Russian strategic bombers were spotted at the Russian Engels air base.

Foreign spacecraft, more than 20 Tu-160 and Tu-95 strategic bombers, were found at the Russian military airbase Engels. The corresponding satellite image, according to ImageSat International, was published on March 12, 2022. At the same time, in comments The satellite image claims a very large number of strategic bombers stationed at the airbase.

Judging by the presented satellite image of the Russian military air base Engels, at least 9 Tu-160 strategic supersonic bombers and at least 19 Tu-95 strategic bombers-missile carriers were located on its territory, which is almost a third of all Russian strategic aviation forces.

Whether there are strategic bombers at the Engels airbase at the moment is unknown. At the same time, the reasons for the presence of such a large number of strategic aviation assets of the Russian Aerospace Forces remain unknown.

A number of assumptions have been made that strategic aviation can be used to strike at military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, this information is refuted by the lack of relevant statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
