A B-52H bomber was spotted carrying secret missiles over California.

Photos of a B-52H Stratofortress heavy strategic bomber with two unknown missiles under its wing have surfaced online. The images were taken over Owens Valley in California.

The shape of the ammunition is almost identical to the advanced AGM-181 LRSO cruise missile, a stealthy long-range nuclear missile designed to replace the aging AGM-86B ALCM.

"The missile is nearly identical to the AGM-181 Long Range Stand Off Weapon (LRSO), a prospective stealthy nuclear cruise missile," — observers note on social networks.

Raytheon has been developing the LRSO since 2020. The missile is part of the US nuclear triad modernization program and is designed to engage targets from a safe distance, penetrating modern air defense systems. Tests are being conducted on the B-52H and the advanced B-21 Raider. The cost of each missile is estimated at $14 million. The Pentagon has not yet commented on the footage.
