The Russian military received the first batch of Chinese-made armored vehicles. This was announced by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

On Wednesday, Kadyrov published photos showing new armored vehicles purchased for Chechen units participating in special operations in Ukraine. One of the military vehicles on display is the Tiger armored personnel carrier manufactured by the Chinese defense company Shaanxi Baoji Special Vehicles Manufacturing.

Armored personnel carrier "Tiger" has a 4×4 wheel formula and can accommodate a crew of two people - commander and driver. In addition, the armored car is capable of carrying up to nine fully equipped infantrymen. The "Tiger" can be adapted to perform a variety of functions: it can serve as an armored personnel carrier, patrol car, police car, medical vehicle, command post or strike platform.

Since debuting at Eurosatory in 2012, China's Tigers have been sold to several countries, including Bolivia, Somalia and Tajikistan, according to Defense Blog.
