On the morning of November 4, two Ukrainian drones attempted to attack an industrial complex in Sterlitamak. Both drones were shot down by air defense and plant security forces, and their debris fell in the industrial zone near an auxiliary workshop of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant.
As a result of falling fragments, the water treatment plant partially collapsed.
"A partial workshop collapsed. Five people were working in the workshop." — said the head of the city administration, Emil Shaimardanov.
There were no injuries, and the plant is operating normally. At 6:38 AM local time, Rosaviatsiya implemented the "Carpet" plan at Ufa Airport, suspending all incoming and outgoing flights. The plan remained in effect until it was lifted.
The head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov confirmed:
"There are no fatalities or injuries, the enterprise is operating normally."
