Despite the fact that the latest domestic attack unmanned aerial vehicle "Okhotnik" will be adopted by the Russian army by 2024-2025, it became known about the intentions of the Russian military to test a heavy UAV in real combat conditions, in particular, we are talking about Syria.

Experts note that testing this type of Russian weapon on the territory of the SAR is very important, however, it is likely that the appearance of the Hunter in Syria will become known only closer to the start of mass production of these attack drones, by analogy with the fifth generation Su- 57, the T-14 Armata tank and the Orion shock and reconnaissance drone.

“It is important for Russia to conduct tests and at the same time not to draw attention to its latest weapons, capable of breaking through enemy air defense areas. Given the beginning of active testing of the "Okhotnik", it is quite possible to assume that in 2022-2023 the Russian attack drone will appear in Syria as well ", - emphasizes the specialist.

To date, it is known about one existing copy of the Hunter drone and the construction of three more, in connection with which the drone may well appear in Syria along with the Su-57 fighter, which, in fact, is its leader.
