The British Navy announced the successful discovery of one of the most secretive Russian submarines.

The command of the Royal Navy of Great Britain reported that the country's warship and the Boeing P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine aircraft were able to detect one of the most secretive Russian submarines in the waters of the North Sea. We are talking about the Severodvinsk nuclear submarine, carrying up to 30 torpedoes and 40 cruise missiles on board.

According to information provided in a press release from the British Royal Navy, a Russian nuclear submarine has been found submerged, which is the first time.

British submarine hunter HMS Portland observed the Severodvinsk cruise missile submarine and the Vepr-class attack submarine as they made their submerged passage south along the Norwegian coast from the Arctic. The frigate HMS Portland followed the submarines after they surfaced individually in the North Sea, northwest of Bergen, on 16 and 19 July, before NATO and Baltic forces took over duties as they sailed for St. Petersburg for the celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy.
