A possible target of a missile strike in the vicinity of the Zhuliany airport in Kyiv was supposedly the position area of ​​the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. This information still needs to be confirmed, however, if it is true, this event may mean that Russia is purposefully destroying Ukraine's air defense systems.

Zhuliany Airport is located on the outskirts of Kyiv and serves as both a civilian and a military airfield. Earlier, the deployment of air defense systems was recorded on the territory of the airport, however, so far it has not been possible to confirm the exact hit on air defense systems.

The position area of ​​​​the American Patriot air defense system, the intended target of the strike, is a key element of defense and airspace control.
