Zhukovsky Airport

Fourth Moscow airport will start operating in May

Airport "Zhukovsky" will start its work before the end of May.

According to the aviation resource Avia.pro, the management of the Zhukovsky airport has already submitted all the necessary documents to the Federal Air Transport Agency to obtain the appropriate safety certificate. According to experts, the Moscow Region airport will be able to start its activities in May of this year, although it was initially assumed that the work of the fourth air harbor in the Russian capital would begin in March.

At the moment, the management of Zhukovsky airport is actively negotiating with representatives of domestic airlines about basing aircraft here, however, it is important to clarify the fact that the activities of the airport are mainly aimed at unloading other capital air ports, in this connection, large passenger traffic, especially in the first year of operation, should not be expected here.
