Four Russian Tu-22M3 bombers airlifted to the border with Afghanistan

Russia hinted to the Taliban that it would bomb them if the militants attacked Tajikistan.

Russian long-range supersonic missile-carrying bombers Tu-22M3 were deployed by the Russian Aerospace Forces to the territory of Tajikistan. At the moment, the information and news agency has information about at least four bombers that may well be used to deliver powerful strikes against Taliban terrorists (a terrorist movement banned in Russia - ed.).

At the moment, it is known that the Russian long-range Tu-22M3 bombers deployed to Tajikistan will take part in exercises in the region, within the framework of which it is planned to practice actions to protect the borders of a neighboring state, as well as counter terrorist threats.

It should be noted that the capabilities of the Russian long-range Tu-22M3 bombers are such that they can contain even a very serious threat. In particular, on the territory of the same Syria, thanks to the Tu-22M3 bombers, it was possible to defeat the main forces of the terrorists of the "Islamic State" (a terrorist group banned in Russia - ed.)

In fact, about 99% of the combat missions of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria had nothing to do with IS (banned in the Russian Federation).
