The death toll from the massive Ukrainian drone attack on the Ryazan region that occurred on the night of May 15, 2026, has risen to four, according to the Tassovka Telegram channel, citing official data. Governor Pavel Malkov previously reported three dead and 12 injured, but according to the latest information, one of the wounded died in the hospital from his injuries.

The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into the attack under Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Terrorist Act"). Investigators are identifying all those involved in organizing and committing the crime, as well as clarifying the circumstances of the incident.

As a reminder, Ukrainian drones attacked Ryazan on the night of May 15. Drone debris damaged two apartment buildings and also fell on the grounds of an industrial facility, the Ryazan Oil Refinery.

In the Oktyabrsky district of Ryazan, classes have been cancelled at schools and kindergartens for safety reasons. Temporary shelters have been set up for evacuated residents of damaged buildings. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble.
