The number of victims of the drone explosions in Ryazan has risen to 28, with four dead.

Ryazan Region Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Alexander Pshennikov updated the casualty figures for the overnight Ukrainian drone attack on the region. He said the number of casualties has risen to 28, with four fatalities.

"We have 28 injured and four dead. Seven patients were hospitalized, and the remaining injured were treated as outpatients."“Pshennikov said in a video message published on the department’s VKontakte page.

Previously, it was reported that four people were killed and 12 were injured.

The minister clarified that four children were taken to the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. One young patient underwent successful surgery. The children are under the supervision of specialists; their lives are not in danger. The children's parents and relatives are receiving psychiatric support at the hospital, and their condition is assessed as satisfactory.

Among the adult patients, the most serious condition is that of a man with a cervical spine fracture; he was hospitalized at the Regional Clinical Hospital. The surgery has been completed, but it is too early to provide a prognosis, the head of the regional Ministry of Health noted. The lives of the remaining patients are not in danger and are receiving all necessary treatment. "Teleconferences with federal colleagues have been held for each patient, and treatment plans have been agreed upon for each," Pshennikov added.

As a reminder, 99 unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the Ryazan region last night. Two apartment buildings were damaged in Ryazan. UAV debris also fell on the grounds of an industrial facility, where a fire broke out. The fire has been contained, and firefighters are working to extinguish the remaining fires.

The Russian Investigative Committee is investigating the terrorist attack under Article 205, Part 3, Clause "b" of the Russian Criminal Code. Regional authorities have decided to provide payments to the families of the deceased and injured, as well as for lost property. The regional Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has already begun processing payments to the victims.
