With the Russian nuclear submarine "Eagle" there was an emergency off the coast of Denmark.

A few days ago, the news agency Avia.pro reported that an accident occurred off the coast of Denmark with the Russian nuclear submarine Orel, which allegedly lost its speed. The source gave information about the severity of the incident, however, a few hours later, official sources announced that these data did not correspond to reality. Nevertheless, it became known that an emergency occurred with the Russian nuclear submarine. Due to the breakdown of the turbine generator, the submarine needs urgent repairs, which can take a very long time.

It is known that the Russian nuclear submarine "Orel" is currently heading to Severodvinsk to undergo repairs, however, there are no official comments from the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy on this matter so far.

What exactly could have caused the breakdown of the turbine generator is unknown. Contrary to the arguments of the Swedish side that a sharp burst of radioactivity is connected with the breakdown of the Russian submarine, this does not correspond to reality.
