Assault detachments of PMC "Wagner" began fighting for Vasyukovka and Krasnaya Gora.

After the successful assault on the Blagodatnoye settlement, located between Soledar and Bakhmut, the advanced units of the Wagner PMC began to storm the settlement of Krasnaya Gora, the capture of which will provide almost direct access to the northern part of Bakhmut. Among other things, in parallel, battles are being fought for the settlement of Vasyukovka, located north of Soledar and allowing a further offensive in the direction of Slavyansk.

According to Avia.pro sources, fierce battles are currently taking place in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Krasnaya Gora. With the relatively small size of this settlement, the latter plays a key role in controlling the northern part of Bakhmut. Fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located on the territory of the settlement of Krasnaya Gora, and therefore it was not possible to take control of this settlement on the move, however, fierce battles are currently taking place here.

After the successful capture of the settlement of Sacco and Vanzetti, located north of Soledar, units of the Wagner PMC began to storm the settlement of Vasyukovka. A successful assault on this settlement allows you to organize an attack on Slavyansk, however, it is more than likely that the forces of Russian mercenaries will still advance in the direction of Seversk.

According to the Ukrainian side, the situation in these areas is quite complicated, although so far Bakhmut itself, Seversk and Slavyansk are not surrounded.
