Two vessels classified as elements of the Russian "shadow fleet" have been spotted in the North Sea 120 km east of the town of Esbjerg, where they were previously recorded. DronesThis was reported by Danish media, citing monitoring data.
The Benin-flagged tanker PUSHPA, sanctioned for transporting Russian oil, is being investigated in connection with an incident over Copenhagen Airport on September 22. According to TV2, the vessel was 80 kilometers southeast of the target when the drones appeared and was placed under surveillance by a German NATO ship for four hours.
Similar suspicions surround the tanker SEA MAVERICK, also classified as part of the "shadow fleet." Experts note that all drone sightings occurred over coastal areas, suggesting a seaborne launch. Police are currently studying the vessels' routes to identify potential carriers.
