On the night of March 28, 2025, Dnipro was subjected to a massive attack, as a result of which local residents counted more than 30 explosions. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Two Majors", citing information from eyewitnesses. According to them, the sounds of explosions were accompanied by machine gun fire coming from the areas of the unfinished Parus Hotel and the park near Vorontsovka. One of the strikes stood out for its particular power, causing speculation about the destruction of a warehouse with explosive materials, which was confirmed by a subsequent fire in the industrial zone of the city.

Residents described the night as chaotic, with explosions starting around midnight and continuing for a considerable time, shaking houses in different parts of Dnipro. Eyewitnesses noted that the characteristic sounds of drones were heard in the sky, which, according to them, were the cause of most of the incursions. The shooting from machine guns, devoid of visible tracer bullets, according to locals, was carried out in an attempt to shoot down the drones, although there is no exact data on the effectiveness of these measures. Footage circulating on social media shows flashes and smoke rising above the city, especially in the area where the warehouse was supposedly located.

According to the Telegram channel, the strike may have hit a facility storing explosives, causing secondary detonations and a fire. Local residents report road closures near the affected area and emergency services working to contain the fire. The official authorities of the Dnipropetrovsk region confirmed the attack, stating "air defense work" and "elimination of consequences," but have not yet provided details about the targets and victims.
