Located at Tabka airbase in central Syria, Russian S-300s will shoot down American, Israeli and Turkish planes.

Against the background of uncontrolled strikes by the United States, Israel and Turkey on Syria, Russia decided to place S-300 Favorit anti-aircraft missile systems at Tabka airbase. The latter will not only track violations of Syrian airspace, but also attack enemy aircraft in the event of aggression against the SAA and the Russian military.

In the presented image, you can see the coverage area of ​​the S-300 air defense systems located at the Tabka airbase. Given the terrain, the complexes are able to control the entire eastern part of the Arab republics, almost the entire northern part of the SAR, and, most importantly, provide airspace control over the Al-Tanf zone, which is used by Israel to strike against Syria.

Among other things, experts believe that the S-300 systems deployed by the Russian military are also designed to capture cruise missiles - the latter will be hit by Syrian air defense systems, since the Russian and Syrian complexes are integrated with each other. Moreover, it will also provide an opportunity to cover the Russian military air base in the city of Qamishli, located in northern Syria.
