Today in Tel Aviv there was an incident that caused a wide resonance: an unmanned aerial vehicle exploded in the immediate vicinity of the US Embassy building. According to eyewitnesses, the drone flew in from the sea and exploded at the intersection of Ben Yehuda and Shalom Aleichem streets, just 100 meters from the diplomatic mission.

The explosion injured two passers-by. Their condition has not yet been clarified, but they were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

Yemen's Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said a new type of drone was used for this operation, capable of bypassing interception systems and radars, making it undetectable until the moment of the explosion.

Video footage shows a massive explosion, suggesting the drone was carrying a large amount of explosives.
