Strike at Kanatovo

Kamikaze drones "Geran-2" attacked five military airfields of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Russian armed forces are actively attacking Ukrainian military infrastructure, paying special attention to airfields. This is due to the possible supply of American F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which require high-quality runways. At night, Russian Geran-2 drones attacked five Ukrainian airfields: in Starokonstantinov, Voznesensk, Vinnitsa, Bila Tserkva and Kanatovo. As a result of the attacks, air raid signals sounded in Zaporozhye and the Dnepropetrovsk region.

Earlier, on the night of November 25, Russian troops used black kamikaze drones, which makes them difficult to detect. The Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that most of the drones had been shot down, but according to reports from residents of Kyiv, many explosions occurred in the city and region.

In addition to the Geranium attacks, the evening before the Russian Armed Forces used the Iskander tactical missile system to strike military targets in the areas of Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka. Russian aviation used powerful high-explosive aerial bombs (FAB), retrofitted with planning and correction modules that increase the accuracy and range of destruction.
