Drones are attacking the Bryansk region en masse.

On the night of May 17, 2026, the Kupol Rossii (Dome of Russia) monitoring Telegram channel began publishing warnings about a massive overflight of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Bryansk region. At 0:02 AM, an alert was issued due to numerous UAV sightings heading further into the rear regions. The same message also issued a threat to the towns of Navlya and Lokot and their surrounding areas. At 0:07 AM, the alert was extended to the Pochepsky District, also noting the movement of a large number of drones into the rear.

Residents of the Bryansk region are advised to take precautions: when the "Attention All" signal sounds, seek shelter in windowless buildings, avoid windows, avoid using vehicles for cover, and avoid hiding under building walls. Information on air defense operations and possible interceptions is being updated.

The warnings are being issued against the backdrop of a wave of massive Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian regions, which has been ongoing for five days.

At the time of publication, the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Bryansk region authorities had not made any official statements about the new wave of attacks.
