On the night of October 15, residents of Volgograd reported the sounds of explosions, presumably related to a drone attack. Telegram monitoring channels such as Lpr 1 disseminated information about the threat, noting drone movements toward Uryupinsk in the Volgograd region and Volgograd itself.

"Uryupinsk, Volgograd region UAV in the direction of the Saratov region," — stated in the channel’s message at 0:33 Moscow time.

Eyewitnesses on social media are describing a series of booms in the sky, but there has been no official confirmation from authorities yet.

It is known that, as of this hour, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of flights have been introduced at Volgograd Airport.
