Lipetsk News, December 9, 2025, Avia.proUkrainian drones attempted to breach facilities in the Lipetsk region on the night of December 8-9, triggering a series of explosions in the sky. Local residents suspect that the primary target was a chemical complex in an industrial zone.

Air defense forces destroyed three UAVs over the region, according to a Ministry of Defense report. The attack began around midnight and ended by morning. Eyewitnesses reported loud booms that shook windows in houses.

By morning, Governor Igor Artamonov announced the lifting of the drone alert, but did not comment on the details of the events.
