Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy, considered a close ally of US President Donald Trump, stated that Trump will take a tougher stance on Russia in the coming weeks and months. Ruddy made this statement in an interview, commenting on Trump's approach to foreign policy.
"Trump isn't against Ukraine, as some might think, and he's significantly changed his position. I think we'll see much more aggressive actions in the coming weeks and months." — Ruddy emphasized.
He also noted that Trump considers Russian President Vladimir Putin a "bad guy," although he publicly avoids making such statements.
Ruddy's statement comes amid Trump's recent comments on the need to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, in which he expressed disappointment at the lack of progress in negotiations with Russia. Experts suggest that a tougher stance could include tightening sanctions, increasing military support for Ukraine, or more active U.S. involvement in international efforts to counter Russia.
