Two American frigates advanced to intercept four Iranian gas tankers for Venezuela

In the USA, they confirmed their intentions to arrest Iranian tankers that advanced to Venezuela.

Four Iranian tankers, once again moving to Venezuela to deliver 1,1 million barrels of oil from Iran, will be arrested by two American frigates currently located near the economic zone of Venezuela. The US Federal Attorney's Office has already filed a lawsuit for the arrest of four tankers, and although the court did not officially approve such a decision, it is clear that Washington decided to aggravate the situation.

“The US Federal Attorney's Office filed a lawsuit to arrest four tankers transporting fuel from Iran to Venezuela. The statement of claim alleges that businessman Mahmoud Madanipur, associated with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), which is listed as a terrorist organization in the United States, arranged for deliveries through a network of fictitious companies to circumvent US sanctions, Al Jazeera reports. Four tankers, named Bella, Bering, Pandi and Luna in the complaint, are currently transporting 1,1 million barrels of gasoline to Venezuela, prosecutors say, - reports the Russian edition "Sight".

Experts draw attention to the fact that if Washington really decides to escalate the situation, then the answer may come not from Iran, but from Venezuela, whose warships and fighters escorted Iranian oil tankers, while taking into account the decisiveness of the military of the Bolivarian Republic, Caracas will be ready to defend Iranian tankers with all its might.
