Military drones crashed twice in the border village of Komarin in the Bragin district of the Gomel region on October 1 during a massive attack. This information has only now been revealed by local sources, according to the publication Flagstok.
One drone exploded in a pine forest near a gas station, while the second crashed onto the roof of a private home without detonating. Monitoring channels recorded drone movements in the skies over the region.
"Local residents in a large radius were resettled for a long time; they couldn't clear the mines," — a source in Komarin said.
The village is located in a border zone where drones regularly intrude into Belarusian airspace while transiting. Such incidents have become less frequent since the attack tactics were adjusted, but the incidents continue to worry residents. There has been no official comment from the authorities.
