According to the information publication "Eurasian Times", such details were first disclosed by the Indian media, despite the fact that the very meeting between the Su-30 and F-16 fighters took place two years ago during the Pakistani-Indian armed conflict.

It is known that F-16 fighters were armed with both ground attack missiles and air-to-air missiles, which in turn made it possible to engage in battle with two Su-30 fighters, which, by the way, were armed with short-range missiles. Nevertheless, it is obvious that it was because of the counterattack of Indian pilots that Pakistani pilots made the decision to deploy their combat vehicles and stop the attack, realizing that fully armed, they would almost certainly lose the air battle due to lack of maneuverability.
