Two missiles flew into Baghdad International Airport

1 February 2014. Two missiles hit the capital's International Airport of Iraq and, fortunately, no one was hurt. This was reported by Nasser Bander, who holds the post of head of civil aviation.

“Two rockets launched into the city exploded at the airport. Neither employees nor passengers were injured. After some time, the airport resumed its previous work, ”said a civil aviation representative.

Last Thursday, the building of the Ministry of Transport of Iraq was attacked by militants. As a result of such a terrible attack, about 14 people died, most of whom were hostages, and about 50 needed medical assistance.

In total, over this month, more than 900 people perished. The causes were not only terrorist acts, but also frequent attacks on servicemen or police officers.
