Two students and a schoolboy set fire to a train cabin in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar, a crime related to the arson of the cabin of a locomotive belonging to the TransOil company was solved. Investigators have determined that two students and one student were behind the incident. According to them, they received a task from an unknown person who contacted them through the Telegram messenger and promised a reward of one and a half thousand dollars.

The incident occurred on August 13, when unknown persons set fire to the cabin of the locomotive. A week later, investigators traced the suspects. They turned out to be 18-year-old Bogdan and 17-year-old Daniil, students at the Kuban Institute of Vocational Education, as well as a 16-year-old schoolboy. The young people admitted that they committed a crime for the promised monetary reward.

The arson of the locomotive was classified as a terrorist attack and a criminal case was opened against the detainees under the relevant article. If found guilty, each of them faces up to 15 years in prison. The teenagers were arrested and are now in custody, awaiting further investigative actions and trial.
