Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called on Labour Party leader Keir Starmer to speed up the decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range missiles. Johnson stressed that every delay costs lives and that delaying the decision to use Storm Shadow missiles only worsens the situation on the battlefield for Ukraine.

The former prime minister expressed regret that recent talks between Starmer and US President Joe Biden had not resulted in approval for the use of the missiles against Russian forces.

He also noted that time is not on Ukraine's side and that decisive steps must be taken now to end the conflict. According to Johnson, the sooner Ukraine is given the opportunity to use long-range weapons, the sooner the situation on the front will be stabilized.
