The Egyptian air force decided to carry out a very dangerous maneuver, the so-called landing of the aircraft on the "belly". This event is connected, first of all, in order to make sure that the upgraded military transport aircraft DHC-5 Buffalo have every chance of making an emergency landing on flat terrain.

As a result of the emergency landing, the aircraft of the Egyptian Air Force received minor damage to the fuselage part of the aircraft, but in general, the test showed that this model of the transporter is suitable for emergency landings.
