Erdogan set Russia up by allowing NATO ships to be unhindered in the Black Sea

The Turkish President has opened an unobstructed path for NATO ships to the Black Sea.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the Istanbul Canal, which will connect the Mediterranean and Black Seas, will not be subject to the Montreux Convention. According to Erdogan, such a status conceals unhindered opportunities for navigation, however, much more important is the fact that this will allow the warships of NATO countries to be unhindered in the Black Sea.

“The Istanbul channel has no connection with the Montreux convention. This canal will be an achievement for us, it will help to seriously relieve the Bosphorus from the point of view of environmental protection, ”said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Earlier, Avia.pro experts have already expressed the opinion that it is for these purposes that Turkey has begun the construction of a new canal, in addition, experts note that the situation for Russia is becoming even less acceptable against the background of Turkey's readiness at any time to block Russian ships The Black and Mediterranean Seas, especially since Turkey has previously stated about such a possibility as an acceptable measure of influence on Russia upon the return of the Crimean peninsula.

There has long been a project of a canal from the Caspian Sea to the Indian Ocean through Iran by connecting several waterways.
Why break into a Mediterranean puddle when you can go straight to the ocean space?

I suggest not to take it in for now.
1) The channel has not been built yet
2) The situation in the world now tends to change rapidly
3) Mr. Erdogan is the heir (as a Turk) of ancient Eastern diplomacy, very reminiscent of intrigue - they will declare, scare (if they are afraid), negotiate and negotiate with the terms of unconditional benefit for themselves or very big problems. This is the East ...
4) Alien warships are unpleasant for the average man, but for the military it is clear - the Black Sea is a trap, with high-quality coastal defense and OTRK with aviation.
5) The Sea of Azov is generally not passable for NATO ships with a siege of 9-11 meters. (The Crimean portal of the bridge is like a gateway to the Sea of Azov, it is not even necessary to bring it here)

In case of war, this sea will be like a dash for missiles, the sea is not big

These are toko words. In Turkey, they have not gone far from what Erdogan is now pushing towards - the sultanate. The current, historically, the Sultan did not live up to old age ... And now, the current he will make that a thread is superfluous for Turkey - and a new coup ...

Our Foreign Ministry should remind Erdogan that, if necessary, the funnel from the explosion of just one Russian hydrogen bomb will tightly block his channel.

More recently, it has been vividly demonstrated how easy it is to seal any channel using a conventional container ship.
