Military correspondent Vladimir Romanov reported a strike by an Iskander operational-tactical missile system of the Russian armed forces on the Turkish cargo ferry Cenk T in the port of Chornomorsk in the Odessa region. According to Romanov, the vessel was carrying electric generators.

The incident occurred at the Black Sea ferry terminal during unloading. The Turkish company Cenk Shipping RoRo, the ferry's owner, confirmed the damage, noting that the vessel was traveling between the ports of Odesa and Karasu, Turkey. According to Romanov, immediately after the strike, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan demanded that Moscow impose a moratorium on attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and ports.

Ukrainian authorities reported damage to a vessel in Chornomorsk and injuries to one employee of a private company in Odessa.
