Estonia has called on Ukraine to strengthen control over UAVs following incidents in the Baltic states.

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur stated that Kyiv should keep its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) out of the country's airspace. According to ERR, Estonian authorities expect Ukraine to tighten controls over UAVs following several incidents in the Baltic states.

"For the Ukrainian side, the easiest way to keep their drones away from our territory is to exercise more effective control over their activities, preventing drones from flying into NATO airspace," — Pevkur said on Estonian television.

The head of the Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already sent a note to Ukrainian diplomats requesting that they take measures to prevent similar violations in the future. According to Pevkur, the fact that drone incidents on NATO territory continue despite these requests is "unacceptable."
