Estonia threatens Russia with fighter jet flights along the border

In an interview with The Telegraph, Estonian Foreign Minister Jonathan Vseviov called on NATO to demonstrate unity in response to Moscow's provocations. He noted that the alliance should act as a cohesive bloc, not as disparate states.

In the context of recent violations of Russian airspace in Estonia, Vseviov pointed out the need for symmetrical actions.

"We want the Russians to understand that they are facing a united NATO, not a collection of individual countries, but a common front whose aircraft can fly between the borders of the allies," - he said.

According to the diplomat, if Russian aircraft approach the alliance's borders, NATO fighter jets could be sent in response, for example, toward Murmansk.
