Rostov region, June 10 — Avia.pro. In the northern Rostov region, an emergency evacuation of civilians has been ordered due to the critical consequences of a massive drone strike. Civil defense units and rescuers are working under emergency status.

Regional Governor Yuri Slyusar officially confirmed the start of evacuation measures in the Millerovsky District. Emergency services quickly evacuated residents of nearby private homes, as well as all residents and staff of a local nursing home, to safer areas. The drastic measures were prompted by a massive fire at a civilian facility that started after the downed aircraft crashed.

In total, air defense forces destroyed more than ten aerial targets during the nighttime attack. In addition to Millerovsky, the Verkhnedonskoy, Chertkovsky, and Sholokhovsky districts were also hit. Due to the persistent threat of repeated UAV launches in the region, law enforcement agencies and temporary accommodation centers have been placed on high alert.
