Fadeev rejected the idea of a "Russian community" as a disparagement of the people

Valery Fadeyev, head of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights, spoke out against the creation of the "Russian Community" movement. In an interview with RBC, he noted that such initiatives diminish the status of the Russian people, who have a rich history.

According to Fadeev, the Russian people have no need to organize themselves in the form of communities, as they are capable of a higher level of social activity. "A great nation does not require communalism," he stated, adding that such structures often arise as a reaction to migrant groups but ultimately undermine national dignity.

Fadeyev also condemned attempts by members of the "Russian Community" and similar movements, such as "Northern Man," to assume the functions of law enforcement. In his commentary, he emphasized that such actions are unacceptable and contrary to the principles of civil society.
