Belarusian officials almost set a record for the construction of helipads.
This afternoon, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited Vitebsk (northeast of Belarus - editor's note) on a working visit. Local officials found out about the visit of the Belarusian president in just a few hours, and almost set a world record for the speed of construction of a helipad for the head of state.
“Today, overnight, the site of the former autodrome rolled up in asphalt. One of the workers suggested that the president’s helicopter would probably sit here. In the morning, at least 30 units of equipment and almost a hundred people worked here. ”- said one of the locals.
In less than 10 hours, the site of the former autodrome was cleared and a helipad was erected in its place to receive the leader of Belarus.
“To the new site, which appeared after this night, is now on all sides leading the way. And before that there were gravel road and broken asphalt. But yesterday they brought rubble, sand and laid a new asphalt surface ", - say the locals.
