Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that the country, despite its recent accession to NATO, does not plan to deploy nuclear weapons on its territory. This statement was made as part of the program "Hour with the President", which is broadcast on Radio Suomi, where the head of state answered questions from listeners.

When asked whether Finland was planning to deploy nuclear weapons in connection with joining the alliance, the president responded categorically:

"No. They don't want it and they don't ask for it."

Thus, Finland, while remaining part of NATO, will continue its policy aimed at minimizing the nuclear risk on its territory.
