Fontanka: About 250 apartments were damaged by the explosion on Piskarevsky Prospekt

On the morning of March 2, a drone crashed into a five-story building at 161 Piskarevsky Prospekt, causing significant damage not only to the building itself, but also to cars parked nearby. According to the Fontanka publication, it was noted that at least six vehicles, including a Ford Transit, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Funcargo, Honda and Volkswagen, were damaged as a result of this incident. Moreover, it is reported that 250 apartments were damaged.

The events of that day unfolded rapidly. After the drone strike, residents of neighboring buildings were urgently evacuated. Despite the seriousness of the incident, there were no casualties, but six citizens required medical assistance on the spot, and one 92-year-old woman was hospitalized. By the evening of the same day, utility services restored the supply of water, gas and electricity to the affected houses.

This incident caused a great resonance among city residents, especially after a new attack attempt on the Leningrad region in the evening.
