France announced the training of Ukrainian pilots for flights on Mirage 2000 fighters

France announced the start of training of Ukrainian pilots for flights on Mirage 2000 fighters.

French fighters may be put into service with Ukraine over the next few years, however, it is known that Paris has approved the process of training Ukrainian pilots to fly these combat vehicles.

At the moment, there is information that the training will have to affect 12 Ukrainian pilots. This means that in the future, France is considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with a squadron of fighters of this type. This information is also confirmed by the RageX information resource, which notes that after the saturation of the Ukrainian military with air defense systems and heavy combat vehicles (presumably, we are talking about tanks - ed.), Europe is considering the possibility of transferring obsolete combat aircraft to Ukraine.

French fighters Mirage 2000 were developed in the late 70s of the last century and do not pose a serious threat. However, a much bigger problem is the fact that these obsolete fighters are carriers of tactical SCALP cruise missiles and Storm Shadow, the supply of which to Ukraine was previously promised in the UK.
