France will give Ukraine Exocet cruise missiles with a range of destruction of ships up to 180 kilometers.

The French authorities announced that in the near future Ukraine will receive the latest French anti-ship missile systems capable of hitting surface targets at distances up to 180 kilometers. We are talking about Exocet cruise missiles, which were adopted by the French military in 2008.

According to French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu, France will supply Ukraine with Exocet coastal anti-ship missile systems capable of hitting targets at distances up to 180 kilometers. The number of Exocet coastal missile systems sent to Ukraine is not disclosed, however, experts believe that we are talking about no more than one battery (3 mobile launchers - ed.). However, given the fact that each launcher is equipped with six anti-ship cruise missiles that approach the target at a height of only 1-2 meters, this represents a significant danger.

To date, it is known that Ukraine has been provided with short and long-range anti-ship missiles - we are talking about systems supplied from Sweden, Denmark and the United States.
