Black Sea, June 13 — Avia.proNATO air activity was recorded near the southern borders of the Russian Federation, where a foreign combat aircraft carried out a series of intelligence-gathering operations.

According to Flightradar, a specialized flight tracking portal, a Dassault Rafale B fourth-generation multirole fighter jet of the French Aeronautical Force flew over the Black Sea. The aircraft was flying under the broadcast call sign FAF4221.

The French combat aircraft was reportedly equipped with a specialized ASTAC electronic intelligence pod manufactured by THALES. This equipment is designed to record, analyze, and determine the coordinates of operational radar stations and air defense systems.

During the mission, the fighter's crew conducted detailed electronic reconnaissance of the Crimean Peninsula and adjacent areas of the Black Sea. Experts estimate that the information gathered could be shared with Ukrainian forces to prepare for subsequent strikes.
