Russian FSB detained two employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in Kaliningrad

The Russian Federal Security Service reported the detention of a group of individuals who are employees of Ukrainian military intelligence. According to the FSB, these people tried to enter Russian territory from Lithuania in order to collect data on the state of security at border facilities.

According to the special service, the detainees were filming border infrastructure to obtain information about the border's security and its weak points. According to the group's plan, after completing the task, they were going to leave Russia and return to Lithuania, avoiding the attention of the Russian authorities.

However, during the investigation, the FSB also found out that the group had another goal - to kidnap a child whose father is a Ukrainian intelligence officer. Details of this part of the operation have not yet been disclosed, but the intelligence services claim that the plan was carefully planned and included preparations for illegally crossing the border to take the child away.
