Russian FSB officers detained a Donetsk resident recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine, the agency's press service reported. The woman is accused of treason and plotting a terrorist attack.

According to the FSB, she passed on information about cars parked near the city's administrative buildings to her Ukrainian handlers.

"From a previously equipped hiding place, on instructions from her Ukrainian handlers, she removed a container containing components of an improvised explosive device and moved it to a similar hiding place used for sabotage and terrorist purposes." - the report says.

A criminal case has been opened. The suspect has been arrested.
