The FSB detained a Ukrainian agent for blowing up a military vehicle in Naro-Fominsk.

Officers from the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) have detained a 24-year-old man suspected of organizing the bombing of a serviceman's car in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region. According to the agency, the detainee acted on direct orders from Ukrainian intelligence agencies, who coordinated his actions. The young man was gathering intelligence on the operations of a defense plant in the Altai Krai and also constructed an improvised explosive device (IED) following instructions from his handlers. In September, he planted a bomb under the Subaru of a Russian serviceman. According to the Telegram channel "Baza," the explosive device had a TNT equivalent of approximately 300 grams, but detonated accidentally due to an assembly error. No one was nearby at the time of the incident, preventing any casualties.

FSB investigators are currently working with the detainee, investigating all the circumstances surrounding the preparation and commission of the crime. A criminal case has been opened against the man under Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Terrorist Act"), which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. This case is yet another example of attempted sabotage in Russia's border and central regions, heightening the vigilance of law enforcement agencies amid the ongoing conflict.
