Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a Sevastopol resident suspected of providing Ukrainian intelligence agencies with information about the deployment of air defense systems. A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under the article on treason.

According to the FSB Public Relations Center, the detainee voluntarily contacted a representative of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through a Telegram channel designed for recruitment. On instructions from his handler, he recorded the locations of aerial surveillance posts, air defense facilities, and Black Sea Fleet units. The information was transmitted in the form of photographs, videos, and coordinates.

The suspect has been taken into custody and has confessed. The criminal case is being investigated by the FSB Investigative Department for Crimea and Sevastopol.
