On February 17, 2025, law enforcement agencies reported the arrest of Rosgvardia Major General Ryabykh in a case of receiving a bribe in the amount of 15 million rubles. Information about this was provided to the TASS agency.

According to sources, Major General Ryabykh is suspected of receiving a large sum of money for assistance in concluding government contracts with commercial organizations.

Ryabykh held a senior position in one of the units of the Russian National Guard, responsible for logistics. His arrest was the result of a joint operation by the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SKR). He is currently charged under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (accepting a bribe on an especially large scale).

The case is under the control of the department's leadership, and stressed that the fight against corruption in law enforcement agencies is a priority task. In the near future, the court will consider the investigation's petition to choose a preventive measure for Ryabykh in the form of detention.
