Germany and Denmark supplied Ukraine with Leopard tanks and additional HIMARS systems

Germany, together with Denmark, transferred ten more Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, continuing its support in strengthening the country’s defense potential. The delivery is part of a broader effort by Western countries to provide Ukraine with modern weapons amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.

The Leopard 1 tanks that were delivered to Ukraine are modernized versions of older models, equipped with modern fire control and armor systems.

In addition, Germany included three HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) systems in the list of weapons being prepared for delivery. Judging by the active deliveries of these systems to Ukraine, Kyiv lost a significant number of them as a result of counterattacks by the Russian military.
