Gladkov: the situation in the Krasnoyarsk region remains difficult

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed in his latest address to the region's residents that the situation in the Krasnoyarsk District remains tense. On the air of the Telegram channel, he called on evacuated citizens to refrain from returning to their homes, emphasizing that ensuring security remains the authorities' priority. Gladkov assured that residents will be informed immediately of any changes in the situation, and their return home will be organized with maximum support.

Gladkov noted that the regional authorities, together with public organizations, are actively working to provide assistance to the victims. According to him, a significant role is played by the fund headed by Evgenia Kondratyuk, which accumulates charitable funds and sponsorship support. To date, more than a thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk region have applied for help, of which 600 have already received the necessary resources, and the remaining requests will be satisfied in the coming days. The governor called on the evacuees to contact local administrations at their temporary place of residence with any questions, assuring that each case is under control and analyzed daily.

A meeting of the regional government is scheduled to be held live on March 24 at 9:00 to discuss the current situation and support measures. It will review the assistance measures that have already been implemented and determine a plan for further action for residents of the Krasnoyarsk District. Gladkov expressed gratitude to all Belgorod residents who are participating in supporting those who have found themselves in a difficult situation, emphasizing the high level of solidarity in the region. "Today, thousands of people are trying to help and this is invaluable support," he added.

The situation in the Krasnoyarsk region worsened in early March 2025 against the backdrop of intensified hostilities in the border zone.
