The head of the CIA, who secretly arrived in Kyiv, found himself under massive rocket fire in Kyiv.

The head of the US Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, having made a secret visit to Ukraine the day before, came under a massive missile attack. It is known that Burns was during the missile strikes on the territory of Kyiv and only by a lucky chance was not injured.

It is known that at the time of the strikes, Burns was negotiating with the Ukrainian authorities and therefore was at serious risk of being hit. Where Burns himself was at that moment remains unknown, however, in all likelihood, the head of the CIA was sent to the shelter to avoid a possible incident.

At the moment, William Burns does not comment on the situation with the shelling of Kyiv during his stay in the Ukrainian capital. However, such covert visits to Ukraine create certain risks, including for the heads of other states making unannounced visits to Ukraine.
